माननीय कुलपति प्रो. (डॉ.) अंजिला गुप्ता के दिशानिर्देश पर जमशेदपुर वीमेंस यूनिवर्सिटी के बिष्टुपुर कैंपस में यूनिवर्सिटी और महिला कल्याण समिति, बोकारो ने संयुक्त रूप से ‘कंज्यूमर अवेयरनेस प्रोग्राम’ का आयोजन किया। यह जागरूकता कार्यक्रम भारत सरकार की विशेष पहल से भारतीय दूरसंचार विनियामक प्राधिकरण (ट्राई) द्वारा देशभर में चलाया जा रहा है। झारखंड में ट्राई के ‘कंज्यूमर अवेयरनेस ग्रुप’ (सीएजी) के सदस्य और महिला कल्याण समिति, बोकारो के महासचिव और कार्यक्रम के गेस्ट ऑफ ऑनर श्री श्याम कुंवर भारती की आयोजन में मुख्य भूमिका रही। ये झारखंड के विभिन्न संस्थाओं में जागरूकता कार्यक्रम आयोजित करते हैं। जमशेदपुर वीमेंस यूनिवर्सिटी में भी इसका आयोजन किया गया। इसमें चीफ गेस्ट के रूप में एजीएम बीएसएनएल विनोद कुमार और रिसोर्स पर्सन के रूप में जियो जेएमडीपी दीपांकर दास शामिल हुए।

Mahila Kalyan Samiti is a registered non-profit organisation founded on 30 January 1991 and based in Dhori, Bokaro, Jharkhand, India. We work with women and children in underserved communities, helping them become self-reliant through training, education and access to support they would not otherwise reach.
Our programmes cover skill development and vocational training, education and adult literacy, health and family welfare, microcredit and livelihood support, and environmental awareness.
